Taylors and Friends assist community children with Back to School Supplies

Close to two hundred students and children from the Olympic Gardens community benefited from the East Jamaica Conference (EJC) education department Back To School Fair in collaboration with Keith Taylor and friends from the United States. The event was held on August 27, 2024, at the Cling Cling Oval opposite the Olympic Gardens SDA Church.

Good Samaritan 5k Health Run Targets Differently-Abled Community

Hundreds of seasoned participants lined the streets on Hope Road- St. Andrew, to join in the 10th staging of the Good Samaritan 5K Health Run, hosted by the Andrews Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church. The annual run which is a staple on the local calendar was held on Sunday, August 24, 2024. Local Church Members Lead Humanitarian Relief Effort for victims of Hurricane Beryl

Following the passage of Hurricane Beryl in July, the Andrews Memorial District of Seventh-day Adventist Churches, launched a monumental humanitarian relief project, dubbed "Impact South," donating 500 packages amounting to over $1 million dollars so far to assist those severely affected in the parish of Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.

Remembering the Hoary Head

On the first Sabbath of June 2024, the Wilmington SDA Church family celebrated the wisdom of the aged and ‘honoured the face of the old’ (Leviticus 19:32). God promised to carry and keep His people ‘even to the hoar hairs’ (Isaiah 46:4), and in solidarity with His plan, the church recognised those who lived over three score and ten years, and commemorated their life of service.
