St. Thomas, Jamaica; October 10, 2026: Members of the Zone 4 Youth Federation took their commitment to community service beyond the walls of the church on Friday, October 10, as they visited the residents of the Male Ward at the St. Thomas Infirmary.

The visit was centred on fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and practical service. The young people spent time with the residents and conducted a devotional service, creating an atmosphere of worship, reflection, and encouragement. Through Scripture, prayer, and words of hope, the Federation sought to remind the residents that they are not forgotten and that they remain valuable members of the community.

The spiritual aspect of the visit was accompanied by a practical demonstration of care. The Federation presented the residents with a collection of essential toiletries and personal-care items, including tissue, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, body wash, lotions, sanitary napkins, and other necessities. Clothing was also donated to assist residents with their personal needs.

The outreach was made possible through the generous contributions of individuals and supporters who responded to the Federation's call to give. These donations enabled the young people to provide not only material assistance but also a tangible expression of love and compassion.

For the Zone 4 Youth Federation, the visit was about more than delivering supplies. It was an opportunity for young people to put their faith into action. By giving their time, sharing God's Word, listening, fellowshipping, and meeting practical needs, they demonstrated that Christian ministry involves both spiritual and practical service.

The outreach also reflected the Federation's desire to develop young people who are willing to serve wherever there is a need. The experience reminded the participants that even simple acts of kindness can bring encouragement to someone who may be facing difficult circumstances.

As the Zone 4 Youth Federation continues its mission of influencing communities for Christ, the visit to the St. Thomas Infirmary stands as another example of young people answering the call to serve. Through their presence, generosity, and willingness to share, they demonstrated what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ.

The Federation extends heartfelt appreciation to everyone who donated toiletries, clothing, finances, time, and other resources toward the outreach. Their generosity helped make it possible for the Zone 4 Youth Federation to share not only essential items, but also hope, dignity, fellowship, and the love of Christ with the residents of the St. Thomas Infirmary.
