Kencot, Kingston, Jamaica — The Kencot Seventh-day Adventist Church has been officially recognized as the leading Ingathering church for 2025 across the East Jamaica Conference (EJC). The announcement was made during the EJC Convention on Sabbath, March 14, 2026 where Kencot secured three major distinctions: Top Collector for the Conference, Top Collector for Zone 1, and Highest Percentage Over Quota by a Church.

Kencot achieved an exceptional Ingathering total of $2,541,850, representing 800% over the required quota—a historic milestone that reflects the congregation’s deep commitment to mission, service, and community transformation.

This extraordinary accomplishment is the result of months of dedicated effort by Kencot’s members, ministry leaders, and volunteers who mobilized support for the Church’s humanitarian programmes. Ingathering funds directly sustain initiatives that provide food assistance, health services, disaster relief, youth development, and spiritual support to individuals and families across Jamaica.

Church leadership expressed heartfelt appreciation to members, friends of Kencot, and the wider community for their generosity and partnership. “This achievement is a powerful demonstration of what can happen when a church unites around mission,” said church leaders. “We give God thanks for His blessings and remain committed to serving with excellence, compassion, and integrity.”

The Kencot Seventh-day Adventist Church continues to advance its mission of transforming lives through practical ministry, evangelism, and Christ-centered service, and looks forward to expanding its outreach efforts in the year ahead.
