“If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.” These words by Roy T. Bennett are very appropriate as we seek rest and spiritual rejuvenation throughout the Sabbath hours. “Cast your cares upon the Lord and He will sustain you” Psalm 55: 22.
Pastoral Changes
This weekend we begin to introduce and install our Pastors in their newly assigned pastoral Districts of Churches. Changes sometimes are challenging to navigate, but God is amazing in permitting and guiding changes in some ways to bless our lives personally. Please welcome, pray for, and work with your Pastor to effectively CARE for fellow members and others, witnessing for Christ.
Summer Camp
Summer Camp is August 9-15, 2022, and it will be a memorable lifetime experience, “Rebuilding from Inside Out.” Please support our youths as they seek to explore new skills and value-building experiences.
I will share perspectives on Christian Education next week. Where are our children? Are they in danger of irreparable influences? What is the Church doing to improve its education system?
Thanks for supporting the Hope and Healing Gospel Caravan in Tivoli Gardens last Sunday, the experience was indeed a blessing.
