In a wedding ceremony that will be etched in the minds of all who attended for a very long time, President of East Jamaica Conference, Pastor Adrian Cotterell and his lovely bride Dr. Tez Brown, exchanged vows on Sunday December 30, 2012.
The service was presided over by pastors Everette Brown, President, Jamaica Union Conference of SDA, Pastor Cornel Jackson, Senior Pastor, Kencot SDA Church, Pastor Arlington Woodbourn, President, North East Conference of SDA, Pastor Shian O'Connor, President, Cayman Islands Conference of SDA and Dr. Vincent Peterkin, Dean, College of Humanities, Behavoural and Social Sciences,( NCU).
The wedding ceremony of the Cotterells was witnessed by specially invited family members, pastors church leaders and close friends at the Andrews Memorial SDA Church which was exquisitely decorated to create the right atmosphere for this special event. Among the special guests in attendance was former Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition Hon. Andrew Holness. The couple were presented to the guests after signing the legal documents by Pastor Everette Brown.
"I plan to love her and take care of her like no man has ever done to a woman," said the beaming Cotterell when he gave the groom's reply. "We know that God has brought us together and we want to be a model couple and be an example to members in our church, Cotterell said.
Pastor Adrian Cotterell has been serving the church in the capacity of President of EJC for more than seven years. His wife, Dr. Tez Brown-Cotterell is a medical doctor and a member of the Kencot SDA Church where she serves as the Health Ministries Leader.
